Alice Beaver (1980 - U.S.A.)
Alice H. Beaver grew up in Johnson City, Tennessee. She attended Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, for her BA in Theatre Arts. She studied acting at the Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting in New York and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She is currently in her last year earning her MFA in Theatre for Youth at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. Recently, her focus has been devising new works to promote community dialogue. She works for Childsplay, Inc., as a teaching artist and lives in downtown Phoenix.
Alice worked with the teatro from June-August, 2005; some of the impressions of that sojourn are summed up in Alice's Adventures in Maquilaland.

Lorena Lansing(1983) comes to teatro la fragua from Denver, Colorado by way of Chicago. En June 2005, Lauren graduated from the Theatre School at DePaul Unversity with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatre with a minor in journalism. Her principle focus is the area of children’s educational theatre, with an emphasis in multicultural storytelling. She has worked with Walden Family Playhouse, the Creative Learning Academy, the Jewish Community Center of Denver, and Chicago Theatre for Young Audiences, giving classes and producing plays for children. She will be working with teatro la fragua for one year, to study the technique of the teatro and the Honduran culture.
